Wood Shavings
At Pageholme Farms, we produce high-quality wood shavings designed to provide clean, comfortable, and dependable bedding for horses, chickens, dairy barns, and other livestock.
Our shavings are made from 100% Canadian softwood and carefully processed to deliver a dry, low-dust product you can feel good about using in your barn.
Why choose Pageholme Farms wood shavings?
- Multiple flake sizes: Choose from large, medium, or small flakes—or a convenient blend.
- 100% Canadian softwood: Made exclusively from freshly planed, new wood.
- Low moisture: Dried to approximately 10% moisture for a dry, absorbent product.
- Dust screened: Carefully screened to remove dust, making our shavings essentially dust-free and ideal for quality horse and livestock bedding.
- Flexible delivery options: Available bagged by the pallet or in bulk loads, with pickup also available.
- Biodegradable: A natural bedding option that breaks down over time.
Clean. Dry. Comfortable. Dependable.
Whether you're bedding a horse stall, chicken coop, or dairy barn, Pageholme Farms delivers quality wood shavings you can count on.
Quick Pick
Easier and cleaner to use for quick, efficient stall cleanups. Our thinner, lighter shavings offer strong absorption, helping keep stalls drier and cleaner while making daily cleaning faster and more efficient.
Stravings
Pageholme Farms has combined **two proven bedding materials—wood shavings and chopped straw—**into one convenient, compressed product: Straving.
This unique blend delivers easy stall cleaning, excellent containment, and strong absorbency, helping make everyday barn care simpler and more efficient.
Best of all, Stravings™ is a renewable, environmentally friendly bedding option for your livestock and pets.
Stravings can also benefit your farm’s composting process. The chopped straw helps act as a pH balancer within the shavings, supporting faster decomposition and creating a nutrient-rich compost that can be returned to the land.
Two great bedding products. One convenient solution.

Straw
At Pageholme Farms, we take hay seriously. We understand that high-quality hay is essential to the health and well-being of horses and livestock, which is why we take great care at every stage of the process.
We grow and bale most of our own hay, giving us greater control over the quality of the finished product. For hay we don’t grow ourselves, we work closely with carefully selected local growers throughout the hay season to ensure we maintain the high standards our customers expect.
We offer a variety of premium hay options to suit different livestock and nutritional needs:
- Timothy/Alfalfa
- Orchard/Alfalfa
- Pure Timothy
- Pure Orchard
- Pure Alfalfa
Available in small or large square bales.
From field to bale, quality comes first at Pageholme Farms.

At Pageholme Farms, we source and bale locally grown soft red and soft white wheat straw, taking care to provide a clean, high-quality product for your barn and livestock.
Our straw is carefully baled and properly stored to help ensure a dry, mold-free, and weed-free product. We take pride in maintaining quality from the field through to the bale.
For those looking for an alternative to traditional wood shavings, we also offer chopped straw in bulk loads, providing a practical and versatile bedding option.
